Red Bracken

The start of autumn was slow and I think it has had an impact on the colour of the bracken, or maybe I've forgotten previous years. Either way, there is a rich wine, mahogany tone to the fronds this year. Quite impressive in vast quantity. The lens seem to do the individual more justice than en masse.
